The height of winter.

"The trainers, flip-flops and other pretty summer sandals are now back in the cupboard. From radically chic T-strap shoes in python-skin to wedge-heeled booties in goatskin suede, tricolour brogues and extravagant stilettos in leopard-skin effect leather, all the 2010 models are reaching for the sky.

Like Agyness Deyn, the most outlandish of the British top models, we love high heels. But beware stumbles! A fall at the Prada fashion parade just goes to show that, even for the professionals of the catwalks, it is not easy to move around when 15 centimetres taller.

And then you have to take care of those little feet that sometimes suffer in their quest for elegance.
